A fire at a home in Elizabeth Tuesday morning has displaced a family of six and sent one person to the hospital for smoke inhalation.
Residents who were in the house on Franklin Street at the time of the fire told News 12 New Jersey that everyone is expected to be OK.
They say a woman in the attic of the three-floor home was rescued by firefighters.
Red Cross officials were on the scene and said the residents displaced had already been taken to a local hotel.
Firefighters were able to get the fire under control within the hour.
There's no word yet on the cause of the fire.
