Authorities believe the fire that damaged a Chinese restaurant in Stamford may have been intentionally set.
The fire broke out at Pearl East on Summer Street just after 4 a.m. Tuesday. Part of the road was shut down due to the smoke spreading over a 12-block radius.
Firefighters say the building is a complete loss for the restaurant's owner.
The fire marshal is investigating whether arson was the cause.
