Officials say they're investigating two different car crashes that both happened at around 6:30 a.m. in Bridgeport.
Police say one of the crashes involved a male passenger who was trapped in a car near North and Main streets and had to be extricated.
The extent of his injuries are unknown at this time.
Police say a second crash occurred when a woman was hit by a city bus at the intersection of East Washington and Housatonic.
They say the driver says he didn't see the victim.
That woman was taken to a hospital with an injury to her leg.
