Police: Driver struck pedestrian, cars while driving under the influence in Bridgeport

Bridgeport police say a New Rochelle driver struck a person and hit multiple vehicles while driving under the influence.

Bridgeport police say a New Rochelle driver struck a person and hit multiple vehicles while driving under the influence.
Wilfido Godinezlopez, 35, was charged with operating under the influence, operating without a license, and five counts of evading responsibility.
Police say Godinezlopez was involved in a hit-and-run when he struck a car with his vehicle on Boston Avenue near the Burger King.
Officials say he eventually turned onto Orchard Street where he struck a woman and several parked cars.
The woman was transported to the hospital. The extent of her injuries were not immediately clear.
Police say Godinezlopez eventually came to a stop on Orchard Street near Ogden Street where he was taken into custody.
Police say more charges are expected against him.
