Police: Hit-and-run leaves women injured

The Hudson County Sheriff's office says that a pedestrian was struck along John F. Kennedy Boulevard and Duncan Avenue around 8 a.m. on Saturday morning.

A hit-and-run collision in Jersey City that injured a pedestrian is being investigated by the Hudson County Regional Collision Investigation Unit.

Around 8 a.m. on Saturday morning, the Hudson County Sheriff's office responded to a pedestrian struck along John F. Kennedy Boulevard and Duncan Avenue.

Upon arriving, police say they located the 37-year-old victim with non-life-threatening injuries.

The vehicle that struck the victim fled the scene.

The victim, a Jersey City resident, remains in stable condition at an area hospital.

The circumstances surrounding the collision are under investigation by the Hudson County Regional Collision Investigation Unit.
