State police have issued an arrest warrant for the woman seen attacking a woman in a video of a road rage assault in Black Rock from September.
Kelian Martinez, 17, says she was driving south on I-95 around 2:30 p.m. on Sept. 22, 2021 when a woman in another car cut her off.
Martinez pulled over near the Exit 25 off-ramp in Black Rock and so did the other driver. Martinez said she couldn't lock her car in time before the other woman dragged her out of the vehicle.
Seconds later, Martinez says the other driver, who is a lot bigger than she is, began throwing her to the ground and punching her in the face. The incident was caught on video.
"People that have road rage, they usually just yell at each other, cuss each other out then move on with their lives," said Martinez. "I didn't expect her to come up to me and assault me."
Martinez posted the video, prompting the other driver to respond, sending messages to her, her mother and her sister.
"It was very hard for me to manage after because I didn't go to school for like a week maybe, because I was scared to go outside, especially after she harassed us," she said.
