Stamford police say they have arrested the man who hit and killed a Stamford High School student last month.
Police say Wilson Villa-Cabrera, 37, had a clear view while driving and should have been able to avoid hitting 18-year-old Karina Tinajero-Arreguin.
As News 12 Connecticut has reported, Tinajero-Arreguin was hit while crossing Strawberry Hill Avenue on the way to take the SATs.
Police say that there is no evidence suggesting Villa-Cabrera was speeding, distracted or under the influence while behind the wheel.
