The Connecticut Department of Transportation is giving the public the opportunity to comment on a future transportation plan for the state.
The DOT has scheduled two public information meetings at the agency's headquarters on Jan. 16 in Newington.
A draft of the plan will be presented to the public.
People can also schedule an appointment to review the details of the plan at the headquarters.
The federally mandated document outlines plans for addressing the state's transportation issues from 2018 through 2050.
