Family members traveled from all over the country to celebrate Jean Zamore's birthday at the Meadow Ridge Senior Living.
Her daughter and son describe her as a wonderful teacher, a terrific mom and an inspiration to all of those around her.
Zamore says it's a strange feeling to turn 105 and shares her secret to a long life.
"I think the most important thing is to be flexible, life hands you many bumps and you got to be able to handle them, life is not easy, and you have to be able to take what comes and make the best of it," said Zamore.
Meadow Ridge Senior Living residents will honor Zamore at dinners this weekend.
