Officials say a prominent attorney from Ridgefield was identified as one of the three people who died in a plane crash Saturday.
Richard Terbrush had a family law practice in Danbury, used to serve on the Ridgefield Board of Education and played polo.
According to the FAA, the piper had stopped in Danbury and was headed to Charleston when it went down near Long Island.
Investigators have not determined who was in control of the plane.
Terbrush was best known for family law, but was also representing a reality show star who had been charged with sexual assault.
