Police delivered an arrest warrant Wednesday to a Shelton man they believe burglarized nine cars and three garages in the area of Godfrey Road West last November.
Weston police say Christopher Right faces a long list of charges, including several counts of burglary, larceny, credit card theft, illegal use of credit cards, identity theft, forgery and conspiracy to commit burglary.
Right appeared in court Wednesday for his arraignment. He was already in police custody in Bridgeport for five pending cases. Police say they brought the 36-year-old to Norwalk to be arrested by Weston authorities.
According to Weston police Detective Carl Filsinger, police identified Right as their suspect through the use of surveillance video of him using a stolen credit card at a gas station in Fairfield.
The judge set bail at $100,000 for Wednesday?s charges. Right was already held at more than $525,000 bail in other pending cases.
He is due back in court in Norwalk on Feb. 18.
