Shelton police ask public to ID bank robbery suspect

Police say the man handed the teller a note demanding cash and implied he had a gun. He then got away in what is believed to be a newer model Hyundai Tucson.

Shelton police are asking for the public’s help in finding the man wanted for robbing a local bank.
The incident happened at the People's Bank inside Stop & Shop on Bridgeport Avenue.
Police say the man handed the teller a note demanding cash and implied he had a gun. He then got away in what is believed to be a newer model Hyundai Tucson.
Anyone with information is asked to call Shelton police at 203-924-1544. All calls are kept confidential.
