Sikorsky: Norway agrees to $1.14B deal to buy 6 maritime helicopters

Sikorsky officials released a statement saying in part that it was honored to have been chosen to make the helicopters for Norway.

The Norwegian government has agreed to purchase six new maritime helicopters made by Sikorsky for over $1 billion.
The first delivery will be in place as early as 2025.
Sikorsky officials released a statement saying in part that it was honored to have been chosen to make the helicopters for Norway.
The American MH-60R Seahawk maritime helicopter will initially be used by the Norwegian Coast Guard, but they will also be prepared for equipment for anti-submarine operations.
