A New Canaan mental health facility announced its new plan to share information with the community Friday.
Silver Hill Hospital says it will be providing resources to public libraries to spread mental health-related information.
The information kits will be available for checking out just like library books.
The hospital calls them Mental Health To-Go Kits and says they cover a variety of topics, including anxiety and addiction.
Silver Hill says each kit comes with a video or CD, a book and a list of additional resources.
The hospital says mental illness impacts one in four adults each year and even more teens.
