Saint Raymond High School will host the sixth-annual Harry Thompson Memorial 3 on 3 Roundball Classic Saturday to honor a Bronx hero.
Harry Thompson was a court officer who was killed on Sept. 11.
His sons, who organize the tournament, played basketball at St. Raymond?s and then played Division 1 ball in college. Michael and Rashaan Thompson decided to memorialize their father by giving back to the community. The tournament raises money for a scholarship fund to help a student attend Saint Raymond?s in the future.
Entry into the tournament is free. Knicks and Yankees tickets, as well as autographed basketballs and jerseys, will be auctioned off at the event.
