Parents are upset after the St. Ann's Nursery School in Stamford closed without notice.
Parents say they received a call from the Ukrainian Catholic Archeparchy, of Philadelphia, saying the nursery school would close effective immediately.
Archbishop Stefan Soroka says that the decision was due to the three nuns who run the school getting too old to properly care for children.
Parents say they have nowhere else to turn for their children and some say that they are willing to volunteer to help keep the school open for the mean time.
School officials say that the aging nuns are a serious issue, with only one nun under 60 years old in a three-state region.
