Stamford parents' fight with the school system has now come to a head.

This evening they have organized a protest outside the Stamford Government Center at 5:30 p.m.

The school system is implementing a flexible schedule change in the high schools that essentially takes yearlong courses like math and science and condenses them into one semester.



Parents say that makes learning harder for their kids.

The school system has declined News 12 Connecticut's requests for comment.
