Stamford's board of education has named Earl Kim as its new superintendent of schools.
Kim will be replacing current Interim Superintendent James Connelly.
Board members say they selected Kim after an extensive search.
Kim has worked as a superintendent in two school districts in New Jersey. He's scheduled to start in Stamford on July 1.
