WIND ALERT: Gusty winds for Friday in Connecticut

NOW: Friday will bring dry but gusty winds and will continue into the weekend. Sustained wind between 10-15 mph, with gusts in the 20-30 mph range are likely. It will be a mix of sun, clouds and wind. The weekend is dry but cold. Highs are in the 30s through the weekend and beginning of the week and will then drop to the higher 20s during the middle parts of next week. Lows are in the teens and 20s.
NEXT: The next chance of precipitation is on Monday. There is a storm bringing rain and snow to many in the areas south of Connecticut, but as of right now, looks to bring maybe some flurries at most for our region. This is still multiple days away and will continue to be monitored as it evolves and works its way more toward us.

FRIDAY: High of 36, low of 27. A breezy mix of sun and clouds.
SATURDAY: High of 32, low of 24. Clouds and sun.
SUNDAY: High of 33, low of 23. Mostly sunny.
MONDAY: High of 31, low of 19. Mostly cloudy. Chance of flurries for southern portions of western Connecticut.
