Charges will not be filed against a Passaic police officer who shot and killed a man last year, the Attorney General's Office says.
It happened near Harrison Street. Officials say Randy Sanchez was standing over a woman with a gun when officers arrived to the scene.
Officers reportedly told Sanchez to drop the gun, but he did not. Sanchez was then shot six times and later died.
The Attorney General's Office ruled that the shooting was justified.
