Police: Toms River man arrested in connection to assault of elementary school employee

A Toms River man has been arrested for allegedly assaulting an elementary school employee.

Police say Darron Griffin assaulted a female employee who was working late at Walnut Street Elementary School Thursday night.

He allegedly asked the woman if he could use the restroom before grabbing her arm and pulling her into a hallway.

Griffin is also facing charges of criminal trespassing.
