The town's 13th annual veterans breakfast was held at Vazzano's Four Seasons this morning.
It was hosted by the mayor's office to honor the veterans and their families.
Organizers say they hold the event every May before Memorial Day because the town is so grateful for the veterans' service.
"We appreciate their service. That our freedoms and rights and our privileges are because of them, and they sacrificed a lot. Their families sacrificed a lot, and those that went before them that aren't with us, especially on Memorial Day, we want to honor them for paying the ultimate sacrifice," says Stratford Mayor Laura Hoydick.
The annual event has provided breakfast for more than 2,000 veterans since 2012.
