Sunny and cool in Connecticut; warmup on the way later this week

WHAT’S NEW: It's cool and crisp. Winds will be calm overnight, with lows just above or below freezing. Today marks 21 days without rain. This will continue for another few days. Wildfire risk remains elevated. 
WHAT’S NEXT: On Tuesday, highs land in the 60s with the risk of a spotty shower for some areas. Highs jump into the 70s Wednesday. Halloween will be one of the warmest on record. Expect highs in the mid-70s for most of the state. A cold front could bring light rain showers Friday morning and potentially put an end to the dry streak. No widespread rain is likely until after Election Day.
Monday: Sunny and cool. High of 57 degrees.
Tuesday: Mostly sunny. High of 62 degrees.
Wednesday: Sunny. Warmer. High of 73 degrees.
Thursday: Halloween! Mostly sunny. High of 77 degrees.
Friday: Morning showers. Partly sunny and cool. High of 63 degrees.
