Police are looking for a man who robbed a Stamford gas station early Saturday morning.
Police say the incident happened at the Global Gas station on East Main Street just before 5:30 a.m.
Officials say a man in dark clothing armed with a silver revolver began demanding money as soon as he walked in the door.
Police say the suspect got away with about $500. They say they think the same man might have been in the store just a few hours earlier.
Authorities say they don't think the suspect had a getaway car and that he ran out of the store and up Glenbrook Road.
Police say nobody was hurt. The store manager says they have been open for about two years and have never had anything like this happen before.
