The federal government has extended its suspension of the Norwalk Housing Authority's Head Start program.
Federal officials say they originally suspended the early childhood development program in November after they discovered employees left a child unattended on a playground.
They say they renewed the suspension because they haven't received information sufficient to permit NHA to resume the operation of its Head Start program.
