Police: Teen charged in connection to fatal shooting of Chinese food delivery driver in Bridgeport

The 17-year-old was arrested close to the scene following the March 4 shooting on Boston Avenue.

A 17-year-old Bridgeport boy arrested in connection to the fatal shooting of Chinese restaurant delivery driver had his case transferred to adult court Tuesday.
Justin Catsro's charges include murder, criminal attempt-robbery in the first degree and murder-commission of felony. 
The shooting happened just before 7:30 p.m. Saturday outside an apartment building near Boston and Palisade avenues. 
Police say Jiabin Lin, 36, was shot multiple times as he was making a delivery for Yummy Yummy Chinese Restaurant, which is around a half mile away. 
Lin was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say he lived in Queens and had family in China.
Police say the first officer on scene apprehended Castro following a pursuit, adding Castro was still armed.
At the time, he was charged with interfering with a police officer, assault on a police officer and carrying a pistol without a permit. 
Police say following their on-scene investigation, ballistic evidence linked Castro to the homicide. He was then charged in the deadly shooting.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding Lin's death.
