The trial for a man accused of killing his college girlfriend begins this week in Bridgeport.
Jermaine Richards is charged in connection with the death of Alyssiah Wiley, of West Haven, back in 2013.
Officials say Wiley was a sophomore at Eastern Connecticut State University when she was killed. Investigators say her remains were found in Trumbull.
According to police, Wiley tried to break up with Richards shortly before she died.
Richards' first two trials ended with deadlocked juries.
