Well-known journalist Tucker Carlson came to Stamford today to talk to the members of a fiscally conservative think-tank about his thoughts on the upcoming presidential election.
Carlson, the co-founder of the news website TheDailyCaller.com, talked to members of the Yankee Institute for Public Policy. Carlson said the Republican primary race has been more "out-of-control" than any he can remember.
"You have no idea what can happen," he said. "I mean truly, I'm waiting for Richard Simmons to get into the race and win the nomination."
Carlson also said he's glad to come to an area where so many residents are contributing positively to the nation's economy.
