Residents who live in the vicinity of the Metro-North station on East Gunhill Road say most of the sidewalks in the area have not been cleaned after last week?s snowstorm, making for a treacherous commute.
According to neighbors, layers of snow and ice still cover both sides of the road between the intersection of East Gunhill Road and Webster Avenue, and White Plains Road, making it impossible to avoid the piles of frozen accumulations.
"I?ve seen a lot of people out here slipping and falling,? says Jordan Apoliano.
People who have been gingerly making their way on the slippery pathways surrounding the Metro-North station since last Friday say the city has to clean up the wintry mess as soon as possible.
