Wilton police say they believe three burglaries within a three-hour window last Tuesday could be related.
They happened at homes on Cardinal Lane, Fenwood Lane and Misket Ridge Road.
Burglars broke into two of the homes and entered the third through an unlocked door, police say.
They took jewelry, cash and electronic equipment, police say.
According to authorities, similar incidents are more common this time of year.
"It's the holiday season, and people are vulnerable," says Lt. Stephen Brennan, of the Wilton Police Department. "What we want to do is encourage people to make sure that they lock their doors, lock their car doors and be vigilant."
Police say they are working on possible leads with Norwalk, New Canaan and Westport police.
