The Manhattan College men's hoops team is prepping for what it hopes will be a winning season.
The Jaspers hope to improve on last year's 13-17 record, but that may be hard to do with a young squad. The team only has one senior and two juniors, one of whom has no Division I experience.
Head Coach Barry Rohrssen, who is in his second year at the helm, will have to rely heavily on his underclassmen. They include sophomore and former All Hallows star Darryl Crawford.
A preseason coaches' poll picks Manhattan to finish in a tie for sixth place in the MAAC. The Jaspers play two exhibition games the first week of November. The season opener is Saturday, Nov. 10 at the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
