Bankwell hosted its annual pet adoption event in Wilton

The pet adoption project event was held Wednesday night.

Some local pets up for adoption were the guests of honor at the reception.

Portraits of the pets are now hanging inside the bank in the hope that someone will adopt them.

Bankwell says it is also collecting pet supplies, and matching donations on coin machines which it will distribute to 10 shelters in the area.
