Bridgeport Cat Rescue was holding an adoption event today for those looking for a furry friend ahead of the holidays.
The event was held at Earth Animal in Westport.
Organizers say all the cats up for adoption are local rescues and have been to the vet.
They also urge people to consider adopting adult cats.
Bridgeport Cat Rescue will be open until 3 p.m. today.
