Families will now be able to come to the school and grab three meals, Monday through Friday.
Sen. Chris Murphy says Curiale is one of at least 13 meal pickup spots in the city of Bridgeport.
"All throughout the state we are serving meals, thousands and thousands of meals, to kids throughout the state's school system, and that only happens because we have really heroic personnel who come out here everything morning and make sure kids in Bridgeport get fed," Murphy says.
He says the program's increase shows there will be a continuing need for similar nutritional assistance programs as the coronavirus spreads throughout Fairfield County.
