A Bridgeport grandmother remains without a home six months after it was destroyed by a fire.
Iris Teel, 65, has been displaced since July when a fire broke out at the Success Village Apartments.
Teel has been staying at a hotel but tells News 12 her insurance has run out. She is unable to afford the hotel.
"Thank God I got out safe, you know? Even though I had to jump out of the window, I thank God I got out safe," says Teel.
