Milford police say they need help identifying a vehicle that may be connected to a string of car burglaries at hotels.
The Howard Johnson on the Post Road and the Hampton Inn on Plains Road are two locations that have been targeted.
Officers say a total of eight cars were broken into, with their windows shattered and hundreds of dollars in credit cards, electronics and other items taken from inside.
Police say surveillance cameras picked up a car on the scene at both hotels, and authorities are looking for the driver for questioning
Officers say they plan to step up parking lot patrols.

"We've been concentrating so much at night on residential car thefts or car break-ins and whatnot, we formerly used to spend quite a bit of time in our hotels, in our gym lots, for incidents such as this, and we will revert back to that,” says Officer Mike DeVito, of the Milford Police Department.
Police say they believe the car in the pictures is a 2000 Toyota Corolla. They are asking anyone who recognizes it to contact them.
