On this week's Chef's Quick Tip, Chef John D' Agostino from Wall Street Tavern shows Tina Redwine how to make their signature "Avocado Idiot Pizza.”
Ingredients
Pizza dough
Olive oil
Cheddar cheese
Tomatoes
Bacon
Avocado
Pizza stone or sheet pan
Recipe
Brush the olive oil lightly onto the pizza dough
Drizzle cheddar cheese onto the pizza
Place some tomato slices around the pizza
Add a decent amount of bacon to the top, until satisfied.
Mash the avocado and spread it around the top layer of the pizza, until the pizza is covered.
For those without a wood-burning oven, use a pizza stone or take a sheet pan, turn it upside down and cook the pizza on top of it in the oven at 450 or 500 degrees, if possible.
