Pizza
Recipe:
Get a 12-inch pizza screen on line which shouldn’t cost much. It’s critical to cooking the bottom of the pizza. Spray the screen with oil and then put the screen in the oven for at least 15 minutes on 600 degrees or however hot your oven can get. Let it smoke because that way the oil penetrates and your pizza won’t stick.
Buy half a pound of dough from award-winning Letizia’s in Norwalk or another pizza place you enjoy.
Roll it out with lots of flour. Make sure all of it's covered in flour. Get it nice and flat.
You can toss it in the air if you like, but that isn’t necessary. Just stretch it out a bit.
Spread out five ounces of sauce on the dough and then spread full fat mozzarella shredded cheese evenly on top.
Have your oven preheated as close to 600 degrees as you can get it.
Buy a brick large enough to place your pizza on from Home Depot or use one you have in your backyard. Make sure to clean and disinfect it. Baking pizza on a brick cooks it more evenly and produces a better pizza.
Your pizza should be ready in 7 to 10 minutes. Keep checking it because each oven is different.
