This week, Chef Adrianna Robles of Good Morning Cupcake shows Tina Redwine how to make sweet treats.
Butter Cream:
6 large egg whites
2 cups granulated sugar
3 sticks unsalted butter, room temperature
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
Method:
1. Whisk sugar into the egg whites in the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a whisk attachment. On high speed, beat the mixture until stiff glossy peaks for about 5-10 minutes.
2. On medium speed, add the butter a few tablespoons at a time. Wait for the butter to fully mix in before adding the next tablespoon. After all the butter has been added, turn the up to high speed and fully beat until fluffy. Add in the vanilla in the end and mix for about 30 seconds.
