Chef's Quick Tip: Sugar cookies

This week, Chef Susanne Berne of Sweet Brioche Artisan Pastries  shows Tina Redwine how to make sugar cookies.
8oz butter (left out for 20 minutes)
½ cup powdered sugar
2 cups all-purpose flour
Mixer fitted with a paddle
Rolling pin
Cookie sheet
Parchment paper
In a mixer combine all ingredients, mix on low until the dough forms (dough can be rolled immediately)Roll dough out to 1/8in thick, transfer to cookie sheet lined with parchment paper
Bake at 350 degrees until light golden color
Dust with powdered sugar while still hot or allow to cool and decorate or make into sandwich cookies
