In today’s edition of Conversation Connecticut, News 12’s Rebecca Surran sits down with James Hart, executive director of the Epilepsy Foundation of Connecticut.
Hart says one in 26 people suffers from epilepsy, a neurological disorder characterized by recurrent seizures. Many people with epilepsy are able to achieve seizure control, but others still experience up to 25 seizures a day. The Epilepsy Foundation of Connecticut’s website offers information on clinical trials and available resources. On May 16, the organization will host its 22nd Epilepsy Walk at Cove Island in Stamford.
