Greenwich Hospital says while the coronavirus is still keeping certain areas of the hospital busy, its emergency room has gotten quiet and it has them concerned.

A low number of stroke and heart attack codes should be a good thing, but medical professionals say they're afraid people are putting off coming to the hospital out of fear they'll contract COVID-19.

Medical Director Chris Davison says this is especially troubling for time-sensitive medical issues such as heart attacks, where delaying urgent symptoms for even a moment can be the difference between life and death.

The hospital says the facility has never been safer. They say social distancing measures inside their walls have increased their efficiency in treating the public.
