Bridgeport residents gathered Saturday at City Hall Annex for a discussion on health care reform on local and national levels.
Organizers say the public forum was set up after many people were confused about President Barack Obama's health care reform proposal.
"We passed a public option, and here we are, conflicted about the public option, so we want to really remind people of what we did with SustiNet, because it almost mirrors what's being proposed on the federal level," Val McCall, of Organizing for Connecticut, says.
Organizers gave out literature about health care reform at the event.
