Experts say the snow that?s predicted to hit southwestern Connecticut could make slow holiday sales even weaker.
The parking lot at Wal-Mart was packed Wednesday as shoppers checked things off their holiday lists. However, retail analysts say snow could negatively impact shopping over the weekend. Despite the negative outlook, many shoppers say the snow forecast won?t affect their buying.
Experts say sales are slower because a lot of people are waiting until the last minute to do their shopping. Meanwhile, analysts say the number of online Cyber Monday shoppers this holiday season tripled from last year.
