Sound Drive in Greenwich reopened Saturday after a bus accident closed the road for nearly the entire day.
Fire officials say the Connecticut Transit bus was carrying seven people when it crashed around 9 a.m. Saturday. One person was sent to Stamford Hospital to be treated for possible internal injuries.
The crash also knocked out power to many in the neighborhood. Eversource Energy reported 178 outages after the accident.
Fire officials told residents to be prepared to go 10 to 12 hours without power.
A wrecker was called to the scene to remove the bus.
Connecticut Transit officials say bus service was stopped around noon Saturday due to the weather.
