Westport police arrested a Southport man they say was driving drunk when he crashed into a stone wall on Beachside Avenue.
Police say they started following Daniel Bennewitz after he was seen driving fast on Maple Avenue Sunday.
They say he went through several stop signs before crashing into the wall and then refused to take a Breathalyzer test.
