A man who police say shot and killed a 19-year-old in Stamford in 2006 was sentenced today.
Renel Domond, 29, was sentenced to nine years in prison for shooting Flanegaine Joseph 10 years ago.
Domond pleaded guilty last November.
Police say the shooting sparked violence between groups from different housing complexes. 
Officers say the case took nearly three years to solve after witnesses initially kept mum, and took another seven years to prosecute.
