“Making a difference one lawn at a time” – that’s the motto of one man who is making New Jersey proud.
Rodney Smith is travelling the country to mow lawns in all 50 states. He is doing it to help those who have trouble cleaning their yards – such as single mothers, the elderly, veterans or the disabled.
Smith was in New Jersey this weekend mowing laws in East Brunswick, Manahawkin and Long Branch.
He met with the family of a veteran who died and held lawnmower races with kids. He says that he is spreading the message of making sure to help your neighbors.
Smith says that he will also travel around raking leaves in the autumn and shoveling snow in the winter.
