NASA and Boeing's Starliner space capsule launches today

If the launch goes through on Tuesday, the crewless spacecraft will spend a few days in orbit then dock at the ISS before returning to earth.

NASA and Boeing's Starliner space capsule is launching Tuesday afternoon. Forecasters are giving the launch a 40% chance that weather will delay the launch once again. It was originally delayed on Friday after a mishap at the space station derailed those plans. If the launch goes through on Tuesday, the crewless spacecraft will spend a few days in orbit then dock at the ISS before returning to earth. The Starliner will eventually be used to take astronauts to space.
Reese Witherspoon is celebrating the acquisition of her media company Hello Sunshine, a firm backed by Blackstone and run by former Disney executives Tom Staggs and Kevin Mayer bought the company for a reported $900 million. Witherspoon started Hello Sunshine in 2016 to change the way women are portrayed on television and in film. It is behind some of her biggest hits like HBO's "Big Little Lies" and Apple TV plus's "The Morning Show". Witherspoon will stay on to oversee operations and will join the board of the yet-to-be-named company.
Rocket companies popping Monday after the company said it plans to expand into the solar industry. Shares jumped as much as 8% following the announcement. Rocket companies says a dedicated team known as Rocket Cloud Force will advise potential clients, connect them to the company's digital financing application, and then facilitate the solar installation. The Detroit-based company says the new offering will be tested starting in the fourth quarter with plans to have the service available to the public in early 2022.
