The New York Yankees Organization announced Thursday that it will soon be hiring hundreds of new employees to work at the new stadium and restaurants inside.

The new jobs will include mostly seasonal and part-time positions within the stadium during the baseball season, which begins April 16 in the Bronx. Yankees Organization officials say there will be more than 170 full-time jobs available in the restaurants, like the Hard Rock Café, and the offices, which will both be open all year.

Workers from the old stadium will have priority in selecting and applying for the new positions. Yankee Stadium officials say they are working on a plan for people to apply for the jobs via a Web site or office.
